Coleslaw with Juniper Berry and Rosemary Salt

Delicious Fresh Juniper Juniper & Rosemary Lift Flavours Patio Rosemary Sea Salt Spring dishes

A flavour explosion, as I like to call it. My coleslaw experiment continues.

Coleslaw With Juniper Berry and Rosemary Salt

I knew I was going to have my coleslaw as a side to leftovers, on which I would be putting French mustard. So I knew I needed a flavour powerhouse to compete with the strong mustard flavour on the leftovers. Today was the day to try Rosemary Juniper Berry Coleslaw!

Lift Flavours Juniper & Rosemary Sea Salt Coleslaw:

  • 1 small head of shredded cabbage

  • 1 small grated carrot
  • 1 medium radish, thinly sliced
  • 1 chive, sliced
  • Avocado oil
  • Apple cider vinegar
  • Black pepper
  • Lift Flavours' Rosemary Juniper Berry Sea Salt

Once the veggies were chopped and ready, I combined them in my salad bowl, and sprinkled them with the avocado oil, apple cider vinegar and black pepper. I finished the salad off with Lift Flavours Rosemary Juniper Berry Sea Salt.

My first bite included some rosemary and juniper berry. What an amazing flavour explosion it turned out to be! The big flavour of the juniper berry matches well with the chives and radish. The carrots, from a farmer’s market, were sweet, and contrasted nicely with the hearty base flavour of the cabbage and savoury flavours of the other veggies. It was really a great way for me to show myself once again the breadth of this excellent Lift Flavours Sea Salt.

I loved this salad and I look forward to trying more!!
